David said, we're told,
In the bible of old,
My son cannot come to me,
But to him I'll surely go.
So weep not my friends in need
And David's words let's heed,
For our children too will know,
When from this life we're too to go.
It is but a pilgrim's journey,
A road we all must walk,
And those who have gone before us
Will be waiting at the fork.
