THE ROAD
There's a road I am walking
It's the road you took before
A road of hidden pebbles
And rocks that line the shore.
It leads away over yonder
To a valley where wishes come true
Where death no longer has meaning
And that's where I know I'll find you.
There's a road I am walking,
The hills are hard to climb
But when the sun rises above them
Neither pebbles nor rocks do I mind.
'I stand on the summit of learning
Breath in the glory around
Still the despair of my yearning
And rest in the quiet and the sound.'
There's a road I am walking
It's the road that leads to you
Neither days nor years can bind me
From the journey you took too.
It leads away over yonder
To a valley where wishes come true
Where death no longer has meaning
The road I am walking to you.
